1. Welcome to "The Falconry Centre" in Tottenham, Ontario, Canada. My name is Wilfred Emonts the master falconer, and I will take you on a virtual tour of the Centre. The Centre houses over 200 birds of prey and breeds approximately a hundred young birds each year. All of the species we breed are either currently endangered or threatened. As you enter through the draw-bridge, you will experience both medieval falconry techniques and modern-day biological techniques in the keeping, training and breeding of these raptors. The centre was designed to give you the visitor, the closest possible viewing into the world of raptors. When you visit the Centre, remember, pets are not allowed, however feel free to have your pet with you while you take this virtual tour.
